Woman Arise – Cynthia Awuor Nyamolo, 25 Yrs. Chuka – Kenya | Ep 30.

In which
area of life have you been most successful and comfortable to share with the
world about?
Economic Empowerment
and social development of the society

What
inspired you to pursue this journey, and how did you overcome
initial challenges?
My personal experiences while growing up
inspired my journey. I grew up in a not so much girl-friendly environment where
the boy child was much valued; an environment where girls could struggle to
afford sanitary towels and an environment where a girl’s fate no one knew.
Being brought up like this ignited in me a fire to stand for a girl and women
at large, be there for that struggling youth and show compassion to that person
living with disability.

Please share a significant
moment or decision that played a significant role in your success?
The support from my
family and people around me has been my catalyst to doing what I have a passion
for. They offer guidance, correct me when I’m out of way and offer their full
support whenever I need it. I have committed mentors around me and even from
the church who make sure the vision in me never dims as they push me towards
it. I’m grateful for their support.

How do you navigate work-life
balance and maintain your well-being amidst the success?
I have learnt how to prioritize the most
important issues and those that require the most attention. With a schedule, I
am able to work on them accordingly. I value teamwork and I’m proud to have a
great team around me who work to ensure that every task ahead is fulfilled.
Together we are able to bring dreams to reality. With or without me on ground,
everything goes as planned. “Teamwork will always make a dream work.”

What advice
would you give to aspiring women on a similar journey or who dream of the same
kind of success?
It is possible. The top of the ladder is not crowded. Get out there,
inspire, be there for that one, that’s how it all starts. With the little that
you have, use it for a start. Do not procrastinate; start today. Rise up, get
out there and do it. Believe in yourself and God will for sure bring
resourceful people around you, you will succeed.

In the face of setbacks, how do
you stay resilient and continue to thrive in your journey?
I stay intentional, purposeful
and deliberate in everything I do, always meaning to change or transform a
life. I always reflect back and see the reason as to why I started which was
out of passion and this keeps me going. I see a reason to continue flagging the
‘Awuor Nyamolo Foundation ‘ higher. This is what I find happiness in.
