Lessons In The Place Of Prayer – Dupe, Kaduna State – Nigeria | Ep 2.

What inspired you to pursue this journey, and how did you overcome initial challenges?” The desire not to be just an ordinary woman, but a woman who has power in and with God to change situations and my circle. It was hard being a working mother with so many responsibilities; looking for time to pray the way I ought not just the morning devotion prayer. I overcame by sincerely asking God to give me grace and told Him of my sincere desire to be a woman of prayer, supplication and intercession who can be said of like the disciples “they were ordinary men but they had been with Jesus” through the power they commanded.
I desired to leave an inheritance of prayers and intercession for my children and children’s children. A man/woman will always have time for what is important to her or him. I made it all important and found time in the midnight while always asking God for grace to be faithful. By God’s grace, I found my watch time and have been faithfully keeping to it, the Holy Spirit wakes me up as well when it is time to prayer. The process is ongoing and I will be there till Jesus returns.
Please share a significant moment or decision that played a significant role in your success? It was a program where my pastor ministered and told us to ask the Holy Spirit for help. I knelt down and asked for help and I have seen His help available since then till now. I never stop asking for His help but that moment was a defining moment though there are other moments but this I remember vividly as it set me on the path to my prayer and intercessory journey.
How do you navigate work-life balance and maintain your well-being amidst the success? Grace, Grace and Grace. Discipline and determination with the spice of more grace always. I also get help from family, grandparents and relations to assist while I also rest and unwind.
What advice would you give to aspiring women on a similar journey or who dream of the same kind of success? Pray to the God of all Grace who gives without withholding. Set your mind to realise that you are different, not common, and bring out the unique flavour God has put on your life.
In the face of setbacks, how do you stay resilient and continue to thrive in your journey? Like David, I encourage myself in the Lord, receive encouragement from my brethren and cry if I need to. Then I move on with grace from the Lord of all graces.
