God Has The Right Answer – Jennifer Mugo, 32 Yrs. Nairobi – Kenya | Ep 22.

 In which
area of life have you been most successful and comfortable to share with the
world about?
Marriage.

 What
inspired you to pursue this journey, and how did you overcome
initial challenges?
I was born in Limuru, Kiambu County. I am the first
born daughter in our family of three children. Upon completion of my studies at
the university level, I got a boyfriend with whom we had known each other for 2
years while studying together. One of my biggest dreams in life was to do a
wedding. He had promised me then to marry me but it didn’t take a before I saw
him on social media making the same plans with another woman. Upon inquiry he
told me that he had made up his mind not to continue his life with me since he was
already in a commitment with someone else. They eventually got married afterwards  but thanks to God I also met someone special not too long after him.

The most challenging part of this was that
this man had won my trust and we had a child together before he left me for
someone else. Before I got married to my husband, l was struggling with the
upkeep of my child since I was a single mother. Whenever it was difficult for
me, I asked for a helping hand from my parents who were always my biggest
support system. That is how I overcame the challenge of upbringing my child.

 Please share a significant
moment or decision that played a significant role in your success
? My friend with whom
we grew up together was very successful and had once gone through such a
devastating experience. She encouraged me and gave me advice on what to do to
overcome my troubles. This is the moment I realized that there is still a life
after moving on from the people who walk out of my life. This is how I was able
to move on and meet my husband who I am now happily married to.

 How do you navigate work-life
balance and maintain your well-being amidst the success?
I am a currently
employed in a government agency but I put my marriage as my first priority. Everything
else can end including a job but at the end of the day there is something I
really yearned for and God gave me which is a loving husband and thus I ensure
that in everything I do, my marriage and my child take the lead first, then
other things can follow. I call my family most of the time when I am at work to
know how they are doing and this gives me a Sense of comfort in everything I do.

What advice
would you give to aspiring women on a similar journey or who dream of the same
kind of success?
I would tell other women that there is time for everything. Do not rush
with someone in the name of marriage, since that may not be the person God has
for you. He did it for me so why not you.

In the face of setbacks,
how do you stay resilient and continue to thrive in your journey?
I am a very Prayerful
woman. Religion plays a very important role in my daily life around marriage and family and I put God
first. I believe that without God
nothing is possible. I plan everything well for my family, set dreams and goals
and ensure that I fulfil them.
